June 19, 2020If you’re not into drag racing, you may not be aware of the role of “reverse gear”, but when she’s not racing her own AMC Rambler Hornet in Super Street, this is the role Bri has for a Supercharged Outlaws team.

This mum decided that she needed a little extra “me time”, and sitting on the hill watching everyone else race just wasn’t going to be enough. So after another racer told her to “just get in there and drive it like you stole it” back in 2012, she never looked back.
Izzy has gone from being in the crowd watching dad win his races to being in front of the crowd racing her very own McGee Motor Junior Dragster with a Polar clutch set in A class, and with her 18th birthday approaching Izzy is eye’ing off dad’s Ford Mustang and hoping to get her license in Super Comp.
Katie just likes to race. She was brought up in the world of speedway, and then started navigating in a rally car in the Victorian Club Rally Championships in 2008 before jumping in the drivers seat of a Datsun 1600 rally car for the Ballarat Light Car Club Autocross Championship Series. But recently she has stepped back into speedway.
The adrenaline of reaching speeds of up to 200km/hr is just part of the amazing feeling that Maddy gets from racing, it’s the full experience from the moment she puts that visor down and pushes herself to the limits on the track.
As a carer for both parents, Jody didn’t think she had the time to even think about racing until her dad suggested it would be a great idea for her to expand her love for motorsport and working on cars.
